Valence Park and House, Barking and Dagenham (2023)

Working with Caroe Architects, Camilla Beresford, Nick Holder, Fourth Street, Hydreau and Greenwoods. Research and analysis of the site history from its origin as a medieval moated farm house through to its present day use as a public park and local history museum. Some hundred years of use and incremental changes have left the site looking tired and hard to recognise as a site of historic importance. We are working on a long term masterplan, vision and how todays diverse users can enjoy and be proud of this unusual place.
