Middle Temple, London (2013)
This historic site was established as a base for The Knights Templar in 1300. It became the seat of training and practise for lawyers and barristers who still occupy the special Thames – side site today. Although the history of the building & historical character have been extensively researched the gardens & open spaces have not been considered in their own right.
Dominic has analysed the historical evolution of the landscape spaces, character & management issues to help the estate team understand & present the site, respecting its huge historical importance & current use, as well as considering how it can work as a tourist destination.
