Hemel Hempstead Water Garden, Hemel Hempstead (2012-present)

The water garden in Hemel Hempstead New Town was considered by Geoffrey Jelicoe to be one of his most successful designs. The long narrow site links the New Town to the country beyond and provides an enjoyable interlude between parking and going into the town. The gardens became very overgrown and degraded. In 2012 Dominic was invited to join the Dacorrum Borough Council Project Board to oversee the restoration of the garden. Work started in 2015.
