Masterplan design to preserve the original layout by Alexander Mackenzie, to remove later accretions that detracted and to add new infrastructure where necessary.

The new layout includes a new direct entrance from Finsbury Station and has increased the footprint of the park. Creation of the new entrance and links also allowed the project to dispose of unwanted fill material and demolition rubble without the need to remove material off site.
